Doug Owen is Senior Vice President based in the Louisville office. With more than 23 years in the commercial real estate industry, Doug specializes in the leasing and sales of office properties and office tenant representation. Doug develops and executes strategies to provide the best outcome for his clients in addition to supervising all aspects of the Louisville Office Team.
Doug started with Harry K. Moore Co. in 1999 as an office broker. From 2003 to 2016, he served as a co-owner and co-managing member directing the Office Services Group for Harry K. Moore Co. until its acquisition by JLL in May 2016.
He was elected to serve as Chairman of the Greater Louisville Association of Realtors Commercial Group from 2005 - 2007 and is the recipient of the Association's 2007 Commercial Realtor of the Year award. He has been recognized as Office Broker of the Year for 2012, 2013, 2017 and 2019. He is also the recipient of the CoStar Power Broker award in 2014, 2016 and 2017
Doug earned the prestigious Society of Industrial and Office Realtors SIOR designation in 2004. SIOR is the leading professional commercial and industrial real estate association. With only 2,700 commercial real estate professionals being certified as SIOR, those who have earned the SIOR designation are recognized as the most capable and experienced brokerage practitioners in any market.

Steve is a member of the Kentucky CCIM Chapter, serving as President in 2000 and he is a member of the Society of Industrial & Office REALTORS Indiana/Kentucky Chapter where he also served as President in 2000. His specialties are industrial sales and leasing, site selections, site dispositions and tenant representation in Kentucky and Southern Indiana. Steve is a member of the Greater Louisville Association of REALTORS, Kentucky Association of REALTORS, National Association of REALTORS, Kentucky Association of Economic Development and The Rotary Club of Louisville. Steve is a former Chairman of the Jefferson County Landmarks Commission and Archives, former member of the Blackacre Foundation Board of Directors, former member of the Historic Locust Grove Board of Directors, former member of the Goals for Greater Louisville, former member of the Tyler - Tucker Rural Historic District Commission, former member of the Hurstbourne Parkway Corridor Committee, former member of the Louisville Comprehensive Land Use Plan Operating Committee, former member of the United States District Court Magistrate Selection Committee, former member of the Catholic Charities of Louisville Board of Directors, former member of the St. Xavier High School Board of Directors and was the St. Xavier High School Class Agent of the Year co-recipient in 2019. Steve received the St. Xavier High School Paulie Walsh '63 Volunteer Service Award in 2023. Steve has sold and leased industrial real estate since 1987 and is one of only two real estate brokers in Kentucky and Southern Indiana with the SIOR, CCIM and GRI designations. In the evenings and on weekends Steve manages his 14 limited liability companies that own industrial, retail and agricultural properties in four Kentucky counties.
