Steve is a member of the Kentucky CCIM Chapter, serving as President in 2000 and he is a member of the Society of Industrial & Office REALTORS Indiana/Kentucky Chapter where he also served as President in 2000. His specialties are industrial sales and leasing, site selections, site dispositions and tenant representation in Kentucky and Southern Indiana. Steve is a member of the Greater Louisville Association of REALTORS, Kentucky Association of REALTORS, National Association of REALTORS, Kentucky Association of Economic Development and The Rotary Club of Louisville. Steve is a former Chairman of the Jefferson County Landmarks Commission and Archives, former member of the Blackacre Foundation Board of Directors, former member of the Historic Locust Grove Board of Directors, former member of the Goals for Greater Louisville, former member of the Tyler - Tucker Rural Historic District Commission, former member of the Hurstbourne Parkway Corridor Committee, former member of the Louisville Comprehensive Land Use Plan Operating Committee, former member of the United States District Court Magistrate Selection Committee, former member of the Catholic Charities of Louisville Board of Directors, former member of the St. Xavier High School Board of Directors and was the St. Xavier High School Class Agent of the Year co-recipient in 2019. Steve received the St. Xavier High School Paulie Walsh '63 Volunteer Service Award in 2023. Steve was the co-recipient of the Colliers International Largest Industrial Property Multi-City Assignment Award in 2000, the recipient of the Greater Louisville Association of REALTORS Commercial Broker of the Year in 2009, a CoStar Industrial Power Broker in 2012, the co-recipient of the Business First Best Industrial Lease or Sale Award in 2014, a CoStar Industrial Power Broker in 2014, the recipient of the Kentucky Commercial Real Estate Alliance Industrial Broker of the Year in 2014, the co-recipient of the Business First Best Industrial Lease or Sale Award in 2015, the recipient of the National Association of REALTORS National Commercial Award for Kentucky in 2015, the recipient of the first Kentucky Commercial Real Estate Alliance Vacant Land Broker of the Year in 2017, the recipient of the second Kentucky Commercial Real Estate Alliance Vacant Land Broker of the Year in 2018 and the recipient of the third Kentucky Commercial Real Estate Alliance Vacant Land Broker of the Year in 2019. Steve was appointed to the Property Valuation Review Commission in 2024. Steve was nominated and confirmed as a member of the Louisville Metro Planning and Design Commission in 2024. Steve has sold and leased industrial real estate since 1987 and is one of only two real estate brokers in Kentucky and Southern Indiana with the SIOR, CCIM and GRI designations. In the evenings and on weekends Steve manages his 14 limited liability companies that own industrial, retail and agricultural properties in four Kentucky counties.
