1964 - Started real estate career after graduating from Indiana University, major in Real Estate Administration. 1967 - Won the "National Tax Deferred Exchange of the Year Award". 1970 - Achieved the coveted CCIM Designation - first CCIM in Kentucky. 1975 - Elected the first President of the Louisville Condominium Association. 1976 - Selected by the Louisville Board of Realtors as the Louisville "Realtor of the Year". 1979 - Elected the first President of the Kentucky CCIM Chapter and re-elected the following year to serve a second term. 1980 - Selected by Jefferson Community College as "Teacher of the Year". 1981 - Elected President of the nearly 5,000 member Louisville Board of Realtors. 1985 - Awarded membership in the Kentucky Realtors Honor Society. 1986 - Achieved the designation of CRB. 1988 - Awarded the "Nat Sanders Education Award" from the Kentucky Association of Realtors. 1993 - Awarded the prestigious "Senior Emeritus" status by the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute. 1999 - Elected President of the Louisville Visual Art Association for a fourth term. 2001 - Awarded the "Millennium Maker Award" for 2000 by the Jefferson County Judge Executive, Rebecca Jackson, for outstanding civic involvement. 2003 - Re-elected to the Board of Directors of Louisville's Jewish Hospital. 2004 - Re-elected to the University of Louisville Foundation Board of Directors.
